Phoenix Restaurants are among the very best in the country, and whether you're visiting Scottsdale or live here, you owe yourself the joy of hopping over to Phoenix and enjoying great restaurants. Our list at times may overlap with our Scottsdale restaurants, however we have tried to separate them so if you're staying in Phoenix proper, you'll find a great restaurant that much quicker. Browse this list of some of our very favorite restaurants that just happen to be in Phoenix. Phoenix Restaurants Dine from simple to extravagant.

It was a sad day when Harris' Restaurant closed due to Mrs. Harris demise, happily it is re-opening as Donovan's Steak & Chop House. If you've been to La Jolla CA, you are well acquainted with Donovan's. Prime beef, Seafood, wonderful wines and a cigar bar!. Try it soon. 31st Street and Camelback. Phoenix.

Wright's in the Arizona Biltmore, one of our all time favorites. The service is superior. For some reason you feel very elegant in this Frank Lloyd Wright dining room, the photo at left was taken during the daylight hours so you can see some of the architectural interest in the room. There is also a romantic outdoor patio. The food is contemporary American cuisine with such items as Black Angus filet mignon, peppered salmon filet with a champagne ginger sauce and many other great dishes to tempt you. Open for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. Expensive and worth it!. Wright's is well worth the trip! and  if you're in-house, enjoy, enjoy!

Baby Kay's Cajun Kitchen - 2119 E. Camelback Road. Hot, hot, hot! Jambalay, crawfish pie and filet gumbo! If you like Cajun, you'll love Baby Kay's. 602-955-0011

Bistro 24- Great for lunch or dinner. In the Ritz Carlton Hotel at 24th and Camelback. Lots of seafood items, all food has a French flavor. The decor is happy and invites you to linger. Call 602-952-2424

Christopher's Fermier Brasserie - 2584 E. Camelback. Contemporary French food and wonderful. You'll never be disappointed in this restaurant. It's been around a long time and will be here long after all the fads have come and gone. Great wine list, a late-night menu (not always easy to find in Phoenix or Scottsdale) and bouillabaisse to die for. You'll think you're in TouTou outside of Antibes. Call 602-522-2344 Today!

Coupes Des Tartes - 4626 N. 16th Street. Small and intimate. Call early for a great table. Bring you own wine and you'll be all set with some of the best French food in town. 602-212-1082

Durant's - 2611 N. Central Ave. You'll find this restaurant reviewed in the Scottsdale section as well. We never tire of Durant's. My main point in going are the Stone Crabs, such a delicacy that we miss so much from the Florida coast. You can find them here in season (that old saw about months with an "r" in them). One of the greatest meals you can eat and served with that delectable mustard sauce. Of course, the ambiance and the steaks are great too. I'm just so set in my ways! Call 602-264-5967

Mrs. White's Golden Rule Cafe - 808 E. Jefferson ST. Soul and Southern at it's finest. Fried chicken, peach cobbler, grits? yeh! right here in little ole Phoenix. Not fancy, just good. Call 602-262-9256

Nonni's Kitchen - 4410 N. 40th Street. Comfort food from Italy. Lots of people love this place these days. Maybe it's the great doughnuts dipped in honey that they have for desert. Cozy so call ahead 602-977-1800

Pizzeria Bianco - 623 Adams Street, Heritage Square.  Great for before show or concert. Tiny place with great wood-fired pizzas, focaccio and home made mozzarella. Not open on Mondays. Call 602-258-8300

Roxsand - Sad to say Roxsand has closed!

Wrigley Mansion - elegant surroundings, superior views, feel like a rich dude. Food is excellent as well.
