There are two types of spas - destination spas and spa resorts. We have our share of both. You don't have to be a hotel guest to visit many of the resort spas, day rates are available. Also ask about a "spa package", most offer a "spa day" with specials for Mother -Daughter, or 4 hour packages with hair styling, massage, etc. or a 3 day package built around an activity such as golf or tennis or hiking.
What more could you ask for? And it's all available at destination or day spas in Scottsdale Arizona. Following is a list of ones Insider Scottsdale find relaxing, rejuvenating and FUN! What about a spa for men? You got it right here at Insider-Scottsdale.com
And here's a true spa story - We were all at La Costa with our husbands on one of the meetings. Of course, the men rushed out to the golf course and usually the wives rushed off to the shops, but this time we all headed for the spa. We had body wraps, facials, massages, the works. Every night at cocktails, the men were congratulating themselves on the "location" for the meeting as the wives were hardly shopping at all. Then came check-out. You should have heard the moans when all the spa treatments showed up. What fun! But they all agreed we looked much better after spending a day in the spa.
So as the husbands enjoy the delights of our golf courses, indulge yourself at wonderful Scottsdale spas like The Boulders (named after the boulders that dot the desert in that area), Willow Stream spa, and Scottsdale Sanctuary Spa.
